At Growing Minds Knysna, I help learners build confidence, strengthen understanding, and develop the skills they need to succeed at school and beyond. I offer structured, supportive learning sessions where children feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. Growing Minds Knysna is a facilitator-led support space focused on individual attention, meaningful progress, and a positive approach to learning.
In addition, I work at Knysna Primary School, where I collaborate closely with the school and educators to support learners in their academic development. Working hand in hand with the school allows me to better understand each child’s needs and provide structured, aligned support that reinforces what they are learning in the classroom.
This integrated approach ensures consistency, builds confidence, and helps learners strengthen their foundational skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
My name is Allyche Barnard. I have a background in Behavioural Science and am a qualified facilitator with five years of experience supporting learners at Knysna Primary School..
I have a genuine love for working with children who benefit from extra guidance, and encouragement in their learning. and have a deep understanding of the challenges learners face in today’s classrooms.
I see first-hand how personalised attention can change a child’s learning experience. I am especially passionate about helping learners gain a clearer understanding of their schoolwork, develop effective study habits, and grow in confidence.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and child-centred. I meet each learner where they are and support them according to their individual needs.
